I'm Meghan Pickens and I love art! I am passionate about art in whatever form it may take: architecture, traditional art, the city, fashion, cuisine, and music. My purpose here is to collect and remember everything that I love, in addition to critiquing what I don't like. By documenting everyday beauty, I hope to realize and appreciate my surroundings more, and therefore enrich my day to day life.
I grew up in suburban New Jersey, graduated from college with a degree in Architecture, decided I didn't want to be an architect (best choice I ever made), and moved to NYC in 2005 to work in the construction/building products part of the industry. I currently live in the West Village with my fiancee. In addition to architecture, I studied music intensely, and currently sing, song-write, and play sax, synth, and flute.
